FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME IN DEU HEART RHYTHM MANAGEMENT CENTRE

Aim

The Dokuz Eylul Heart Rhythm Management Centre Electrophysiology Fellowship is designed to provide comprehensive training in all aspects of clinical and research Electrophysiology. Our program is renowned for its commitment to excellence in education, patient care, and research, and we take pride in nurturing the next generation of leaders in the field of Electrophysiology.

 

Fellowship Duration and Prerequisites:

 

  • The fellowship program spans 1-2 years and is open to physicians who have completed an accredited cardiology residency.
  • Applicants must be eligible for medical licensure in Turkey.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  • Personal statement describing their interest in electrophysiology and career goals.
  • Three letters of recommendation, preferably from faculty members familiar with the candidate’s clinical and research abilities
  • Medical school diploma and transcripts
  • Cardiology fellowship completion certificate
  • Proof of medical licensure eligibility
  • After reviewing the applications, selected candidates will be invited for interviews. These

interviews may be conducted via video conference.

 

Key Fellowship Features:

 

Clinical Experience: Fellows will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a wide range of electrophysiology procedures, including catheter ablation, device implantation, and arrhythmia management.

Research Opportunities: Our program encourages and supports fellows’ involvement in clinical or translational research projects. Collaborations with our renowned faculty offer opportunities for scholarly activities.

Didactic Curriculum: Fellows will participate in regular didactic sessions, Trace of the morning, case conferences, and multidisciplinary meetings, providing a comprehensive educational experience.

Mentorship: Fellows will be assigned a dedicated mentor who will guide them throughout their fellowship, ensuring personalized attention and support.

 

Compensation and Logistics:

  • Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation, and any associated costs.
  • Participants must provide proof of personal health insurance coverage for the duration of the fellowship.
  • Dokuz Eylül Heart Rhythm Management Centre is one of the recognised centres of EHRA. Therefore, The centre is an accredited centre for the EHRA Fellowship grants
